Hello readers!! Today it’s yet another face mist! 💦 I go through facial mist very quickly! No matter what the season, I keep using them. So, I am always in hunt of good face mist that hydrates and moisturizes without irritating skin.
Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Mist is from a very famous “Yuja Line” from brand Skinfood. This line is curated to deliver skin hydration, moisture and brighten up skin tone without choking the skin. So, it’s literally for all skin types.
The key ingredient is the “Yuja extract and oil” backed with “Niacinamide” (Just in case Yuja fails!! 😏 ). Yuja is said to be three times richer in vitamin c when compared to lemon! Now this sounds very promising! 😏😬
Just read along before getting way too excited!! 👇
Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Mist is suitable for Normal, Dry and Combination skin only.
Not Suitable for:
Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Mist is not a good option for oily skin and in general if you have excessive sensitive or acne prone skin, just stay away from this product!
Ingredients List and CosDNA Analysis:
Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Mist is packed with skin brightening ingredients (Citron extract aka Yuja extract, Citron oil, Niacinamide and Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate) and many more appealing ingredients! From Cosdna Analysis, it also looks very safe! BUT! yes BUT! Something went wrong! Whenever I sprayed it on face, it caused mild itching and it was same till the last spray of bottle!
How to use:
Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Mist is basically a face mist, that can be used at the first step of skincare and later throughout the day as and when required!
- I was only using it as a face mist!
- Found it little oily for first step of use!
- Do not use it on full faced makeup, it has a tendency to melt the makeup!
Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Mist comes in sleek cylindrical plastic sturdy spray type of bottle! Even though it’s a big bottle, it can slip easily into any regular size hand bag! But of course, flight cabin bags are excluded!
Expiry Period: Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Mist has a shelf life of 30 months.
Quantity: Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Mist comes in huge 150 ml quantity.
Price: I purchased Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Mist from Beautybarn.in (India Only), and it is priced anywhere from $10 to $18 depending upon the discount available on site! It’s not that easily available on many korean website, but I managed to find few!
Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Mist is watery but feels little dense than regular mist! The texture is more like an oil mist! The fragrance is okay! It smell slightly synthetic with fresh and citrusy scent!
The other thing I don’t like, is the way it dispenses the mist! It’s not very fine and sometime it comes out in a chunk! Not sure, if its the problem with my product only! 🤷
Due to the relatively high consistency than regular mist, it takes a little extra time to get absorbed fully!
I think it’s just an average facial mist! Does nothing apart from moisturising! A facial mist never does anything additional and it should not make false claims! My biggest disappointment is how it felt on face. It felt way more moisturizing (may be because of humid weather) and caused slight itching! Luckily there was no major skin irritation. I have already emptied the bottle and my opinion is a final one. 😑
- Paraben Free.
- Alcohol free.
- Very moisturizing and Hydrating.
- Not easily available.
- Doesn’t really do much for skin brightening. (It claims to and ingredients suggest so!!)
- Has a tendency to irritate skin.
- Can disperse Chunky mist! (Mine did!) and mess up with makeup!
Do I recommend it? Not really! If you have Normal skin with no issue of sensitivity or breakouts, you may give it a try!!
Will I repurchase? No I will Not! 😑
I am very much disappointed with this product! For the price paid its nothing extraordinary and most importantly it didn’t feel good on face! For the Cheaper price I can actually buy Pyunkang yul mist toner or Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist!
That all Folk! 😑
