Hello Everyone!! For today’s review I am gonna talk about Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream, containing Innisfree ace ingredient “Green Tea extract”, targeted for all skin types. Wondering what a moisturizer from famous line has to offer? Read along to find out more!! 😎🤑
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream is suitable for all skin types:
- Normal to Dry Skin: All Season, except winter.
- Combination Skin: All season.
- Oily Skin: Winter
Not Suitable for:
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream might not be suitable to anyone allergic to the ingredients used. Its absolute safe for Acne prone skin, but I would suggest trying a sample first.
Ingredients List and CosDNA Analysis:
Wooahhh!! Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream does contain so many ingredients!! 😳 But I wonder how far it is free from irritants!! From Cosdna Analysis, I am quite shocked, there are none!! I am ignoring very few base chemical ingredients in such a long list!! Also, gladfully I don’t see water as a first ingredient. 😍
The three main ingredients “Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil and Epigallocatechin Gallate” are strong antioxidants and skin soothing ingredients. We are very familiar with Green Tea benefits, but an additional additive “Epigallocatechin Gallate” helps in further boosting and enhancing antioxidant in green tea, also along with green tea helps in reducing sun damage.
How to use:
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream is suitable for Day and Night use but I have been using it for my day routine!
A simple and effective Morning skincare Routine for Normal, Dry and Combination skin.
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream comes in standard tub type packaging. The tub is actually very thick and stiff (Kinda double of that regular jar). I really like innisfree for this kind of packaging. It does provide maximum prevention from Sunlight (but that doesn’t mean that product is not to be prevented from direct sunlight 😎 ).
Expiry Period: Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream has an after opening expiry period of 12 months.
Quantity: Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream comes in regular 50 gm quantity.
Price: I purchased Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream from Nykaa (India Only) for $25. Innisfree is available on many korean online store, I am linking down few options:
(Few of the purchase option links included in the post, are my affiliate links, and can help me earn some commission. You don’t have to use the above mentioned links, but if you do, this will help out my Blog!! Thank You!! 👍)
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream has a cream-gel kind of texture. Its thick like a cream but texture is like a gel (What am I babbling??!! 😵 ) It has a signature scent of Green Tea seed Serum but very light and refreshing. I just love Innisfree Green Tea line for its fresh scent!! 👃
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream absorbs quickly, leaving skin soft and non-sticky!! This cream is perfect for dry skin for all year around except for fall and winter!! For winter I am trying out Innisfree Olive line with of course my favourite Green tea seed serum and new green tea seed oil!! So wait for it!! 🙆
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream is an awesome cream, suitable for all skin types, but for my extremely dry skin, it was insufficient during fall!! I ended consuming a lot of product!! (Yes!! My skin consumed it all !!).
- Moistures skin, without suffocating it!!
- Hydrates skin!!
- Easily available!
- Irritant Free
- Alcohol free.
- Vegan friendly.
- Light refreshing fragrance.
- Skin calming and soothing.
- Little costly for what it does. I mean just for moisturizing from 50 gm product, It’s a Nah!!
- Not moisturizing enough for dry skin during winter. A lot is required, with a moisture lost after 4-5 hours. 🤦 This whole thing makes it costly for dry skin. Oily skin will need less of it!! So, in that case it’s kinda okay!!
Do I recommend it? Yes! To all skin types!! Except Dry skin!! We can skip it!! But if one wishes to splurge and experiment, it’s safe for skin.
Will I repurchase? No! I will not!! but I did enjoy it for summer!!
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream is an awesome product, but I didn’t find anything special, plus it was not fully moisturizing for my extremely dry skin. I love it for everything but I prefer Green tea seed serum , if I had to repurchase anything from this line!!
