Why Oil Cleansing? Can Every Skin type use it? Man!! I don’t wear makeup…Why should I use it? I know those who are new to it, keep getting such questions in your head!! Yes!! Your questions does make sense!! and the answer is “yes” everyone should use it! Even if you don’t wear makeup, we do sweat all day, our face collects all forms of dusts, oils, pollutants and what not! Foaming Cleanser do not clean all the oil based impurities and strong foam cleansers are strictly no no!! Trust me if your Skin is oily, You need it even more to get rid of those impurities!! So, today I am reviewing Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil. Innisfree has all together 5 types of cleansing Oil (at least in my knowledge). 🤔
Green tea is rich in antioxidants, provides hydration to skin, soothes skin and is least irritating. Need more reasons to add Green Tea to your routine? 🙃
As nothing much is mentioned regarding the skin type, from the name and description I am considering Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil to be suitable for all skin types.
I am using it for my Dry sensitive Skin. My mother also uses it on her has extremely Oily and Acne Prone Skin, and it works perfectly for her. Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil didn’t irritate our Skin.
But Innisfree has 3 of its variant:
- Innisfree Green Tea Moisture Cleansing Oil : Dry Skin
- Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil : Combination (All Skin type).
- Innisfree Green Tea Fresh Cleansing Oil : OIly Skin.
Honestly! I don’t find much of the difference in Ingredients List of all these variant. There must be difference in concentration!
Not Suitable for:
Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil might not be suitable if anyone is allergic to any of the ingredients.
Ingredients List and CosDNA Analysis:
Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil is among those few oil based Cleanser which are free from skin Irritating or Acne Triggering Ingredients. From Cosdna Analysis, it can be seen that it contains only “Isopropyl Palmitate” which can irritate skin in very few cases.
How to use:
Use Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil only on Dry Skin, before using Foam Cleanser.
For the demonstration I have used following Products:
1.Peripera Peri’s Ink Velvet in shade 10 – Oops Fuchsia (What was I thinking??) 😑
2.NYX Professional Makeup Slide On Pencil
3.NYX Professional Makeup Epic Ink Liner
4.Chambor Dazzle Eye Liner Pencil
5.NYX Professional Makeup Soft Matte Lip Cream
Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil comes in a Sleek Green Plastic Bottle with a Nozzled Pump on top, just like every other Oil Cleanser!! Wish they find some alternative to this!! Why? Because this is not travel friendly!! 😭
Expiry Period: Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil has a Shelf Life of 3 years but I would recommend to use it within 12 months from the date of opening it.
Quantity: Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil come in good 150 ml Quantity.

Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil has a clear watery consistency. The fragrance is similar to Innisfree Green Tea Line. The scent is not strong, it’s mildly refreshing. I enjoy it. 😍
What I like the most is that it spreads easily and is not at all sticky. (In case you are wondering, if it is!! )
In short this is good Oil Cleanser that could work for any skin type. It works perfectly as it claims. All the Pros and cons are as per my experience:
- Doesn’t Irritate Skin.
- Emulsifies Well and leaves no residue.
- Has mild refreshing scent.
- Works on most of the stubborn waterproof makeup.
- Doesn’t Sting eyes. Few have claimed that it did sting in their eyes but me and my mom didn’t have such problem.
- Easily available. (When compared to other Korean Products).
- Not travel Friendly.
Do I recommend it? Yes I do.
Will I repurchase? Yes I might once I finish trying few more oil cleanser.
With my experience, I would have given 5 star but it is not travel friendly and I doubt about its functioning on most stubborn point makeup. Rest I love everything about it. Sometime I doubt if, anything is ever gonna replace my favourite Heimish All Clean Balm.!! 😍
