I’m from Fig Cleansing Balm Review – India

Today I am going to review the “I’m from Fig Cleansing Balm”. I had been using it daily at night for almost a month and it’s time to share my final opinion on this Balm Cleanser.

Packaging:

I’m from Fig Cleansing Balm comes in a sturdy plastic tub kinda packaging, but the spatula that comes inside, inner and outer lid has some misfit issue! I wonder if this is just an issue with my Tub!

I’m from Fig Cleansing Balm

Last week the outer lid was not getting closed properly, so I tried to forcefully close it, and then the next sec lid developed a horizontal crack.

I always had trouble fitting in the spatula on a flimsy inner lid, the brand should reduce the length of the spatula so that it fits in well within the diameter of the inner lid. So, after the outer lid got cracked, I removed the inner lid and keep my spatula directly on the actual balm surface inside.

When it comes to the very practical packaging of  the balm tub, nothing can beat the Heimish all-clean balm. Aah… I am missing it, I should probably purchase it next time!

Consistency/ Texture:

I’m from Fig Cleansing Balm has a fluffy lightweight texture and melts down to the very lightweight oil, it’s almost like my favorite Banila co clean it zero, just slightly a little more viscous in consistency.

Ingredients List and CosDNA Analysis:

I’m from Fig Cleansing Balm

I’m from Fig Cleansing Balm has a quite simple ingredient list. It contains Fig Extract in 7.8% . Fig extract helps in improvising skin barrier and maintains overall skin health. This balm cleanser also contains moringa seed oil, this oil is known to help in deep cleaning skin.

This Fig balm cleanser does contain added fragrance, which to me smells floral and is not at all strong and goes away completely after rinsing the balm cleanser. I am so happy that it is essential oil-free.

How to use:

I’m from Fig Cleansing Balm is to be used at night (if you wish to, you can use it in the morning as well) on dry skin with dry hands. It helps in efficiently removing the sunscreen and makeup, without any tugging on the skin.

So massage this balm cleanser on your face for 30 sec and then add a little water to emulsify then again massage for 30 sec and rinse with plain water. Then do follow up with a foaming cleanser.

Skin Type suitability:

I’m from Fig Cleansing Balm is suitable for all skin types and for all seasons.

Pros:

  1. Doesn’t irritate my skin
  2. Removes makeup easily.
  3. It emulsifies well. Good emulsification means that balm/oil cleanser is not going to clog your pores as it will get rinsed well.
  4. Doesn’t leave an oily residue on the skin, but this doesn’t mean you skip the foaming cleanser after it.

Cons:

It stings my eyes, especially if a lot of balm cleanser went into my eyes. Like if I used the balm cleanser around my eyes, I didn’t have a problem but if it went into my eyes, it did sting.

Conclusion:

Overall a really good cleansing balm, I enjoyed using it and will continue to use it. I wish it didn’t sting my eyes and was priced a little less, but then again all I’m from products are quite costly.
