Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion Review – Why is it famous?

Hada Labo products are famous for years for their quick ability to hydrate and plump the skin, and when they launched the Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion, oh the skincare community went gaga over it.

The product makes only one simple claim that “it is suited for dry-dehydrated skin, helps in locking the moisture in and keeps skin hydrated for long”.

But what is dehydrated skin? Dehydrated skin feels tight and dry from within, irrespective of the fact that you have used the most luxurious face oil or even the richest cream. If you are experiencing this, keep reading the post till the end!

Skin Type:

Hada Labo  Gokujyun Premium Lotion is a blessing sent from heaven for dry skin and if you are dealing with severe dehydration, which can happen to all skin types in the winter season or when undergoing intense acne treatment, please gift yourself this product.

But oily skin peeps, you can stop reading this post at this point, because a glance of the texture of this product will make you sweat.

Ingredients List and CosDNA Analysis:

Hada Labo  Gokujyun Premium Lotion is packed with the goodness of 5 different kinds of Hyaluronic Acid, that are of different molecular-sized, which penetrate to the deeper level of the skin, making it plump and dewy.

I have marked all 5 hyaluronic acids in blue colour, and the one marked in bright green are the other different kinds of humectants that further helps in skin hydration.

How to use:

Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion though named as a lotion, it is technically a toner. So use it right after you cleanse the face at a toner step.

But I am a fan of layering and I prefer my toners to be watery, so just because of Hada Labo’s viscous consistency, I love using it at an essence step, but feel free to use it at a toner step.

Packaging:

Hada Labo  Gokujyun Premium Lotion comes in a standard cylindrical transparent bottle with a really sturdy flip on the cap, and I wish the label on the bottle was this tough!

My bottle looks naked because I ripped off seal with a little extra excitement and ended up with a completely ripped off bottle! Next time, I will be careful! Ahh! I feel so bad! Without a cover on a bottle, it looks like a forgery!

With the seal and the lady on the label! Scroll down to see the disaster!

There you go! Bottle without the label! well the one in blue is another variant from Hada Labo!

Expiry: Use within 12 months after opening, however recommended to use up Hyaluronic Acid enriched product within 6 months for best results.

Quantity: 170 ml.

Price: For such admirable product at an ample amount of quantity, it is priced only $13 approximately. I bought mine from yesstyle.com and it is also available at jolse.com.

Consistency/ Texture / fragrance / Absorbability:

Hada Labo  Gokujyun Premium Lotion has a viscous runny gel-like consistency. On application to the skin, it feels like a splash of much-needed water on withered skin in dry winter or in North India dry summer.

It is 100% fragrance-free. Since it is viscous, it does take few extra seconds to sink in completely, but once it does, skin feels so moist and soft inside-out!

Yeah, this is a toner!

Told ya it’s syrupy 🙂

Oh, lemme have that moist mochi skin all year around!

Conclusion:

Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion is a simple product that does everything it claims. My review might look very plain but this is how the product is and I love every bit of it as I haven’t yet found any better or equal alternative. This is a boon for dehydrated skin.

So, whenever people ask me for a product that would immediately tame even the worst dehydration on skin, I blindly recommend this product.

Pros:

  1. Didn’t irritate my dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin.
  2. Extremely Hydrating in nature. No other product provides instant relief other than the Hada Labo  Gokujyun Premium Lotion.
  3. Makes skin plump and dewy.
  4. It is 100% oil-free.
  5. 100% Fragrance-Free.
  6. Vegan-Friendly.
  7. Alcohol-Free Toner.
  8. Artificial colourant Free.

Cons:

  1. Has Methylparaben. I wish it didn’t, actually all HAHA LABO products do contain paraben, but this is something I will be using for seasonal skin dehydration and I have not found any better alternative. So, I guess this issue cannot overshadow the amazingness of the product.

Rating: 5/5… Can I give 10 on 5?? I love this Product.

Do I recommend it? Oh hell Yes!! This deserves a trail by all severely dehydrated skin people.

Will I repurchase? Absolutely. This time I am going to remove the seal carefully so as not to make my bottle look like a counterfeit.
